For Markham law firms
Markham legal work concentrates around real estate closings, wills and estates with assets in more than one country, and business immigration. Those are matters where a client wants to be certain they have understood every word, which makes an English-only site a real handicap in a city that searches in two languages.

Markham legal market
The matters that fill a Markham firm's calendar tend to be high-stakes and procedural rather than adversarial. A residential closing, a will covering property in two jurisdictions, a business immigration application, a corporate reorganisation. Clients in those situations are looking for certainty and clarity, not persuasion, and they read the page closely before they call.
That is exactly why language capability matters so much here. A client sorting out an estate with overseas assets wants to be sure nothing was lost in a conversation, and a firm publishing properly in Mandarin or Cantonese removes that worry before the first meeting. Those searches face a small fraction of the English competition.
The third factor is the cross-border dimension. A significant number of Markham clients have assets, family, or business interests in another country, and firms that address that plainly on a page pick up matters that a generic wills or corporate page never attracts.
Where these sites lose customers
Every other firm says they are dedicated and experienced. None of those words convince a client. A short list of recent settlements (with figures, where ethics permit), and a clear practice area focus, beats an essay every time.
Personal-injury and immigration clients call. They do not fill out forms first. The phone number belongs in the header, in the hero, and at the bottom of every section. A contact form is fine as a secondary path, not the primary one.
Personal injury, immigration, family, and real estate are different searches with different intent. One page that lists all your practice areas ranks for none of them. Each area gets its own page with its own hero, its own results, and its own FAQ.
The mechanics
The mechanics that decide whether a site earns calls or just sits there.

02On the phone first
Most find you on a phone. The whole site has to feel right at arm’s length.

How we’d approach a rebuild
A Markham law firm rebuild builds one page per practice area in plain language for the client, with residential real estate, estates involving foreign assets, and business immigration given real depth. Where the firm genuinely practises in Chinese, that content is built as real pages with correct hreflang and the right character set. Lawyer bios carry LSO numbers and year of call. Intake asks only what is needed to triage the matter.
Note
We also publish a generic law firms rebuild page and a working Halloran & Reid concept. Every rebuild starts with a free written audit, including the Markham ones.

The searches happen in February. The pages have to be live by September to rank for them. What to build, why full-service accounting firm ranks for nothing, and the intake step that decides how the season actually goes.

Your brokerage page looks like four hundred colleagues' pages, ranks for nothing, and disappears the day you change firms. What an agent's own site is actually for, and the four pages that do the work.
