Care plans
Operational care for small-business websites. Hosting, daily backups, security patches, uptime monitoring, and small content edits. Three tiers, monthly billing, cancel anytime. Not a design retainer. New work is quoted as its own project.
Tiers
The tier is matched to the site on the audit call, before anything is signed.
Tier 01
The chores done quietly in the background, so the site keeps running without anyone thinking about it.
Response window
Two business days
Tier 02
Everything in Essential, plus a real person making the small edits you used to put off for weeks.
Response window
Same business day
Tier 03
For sites where downtime costs real money. Faster response, larger edit allowance, performance kept in line.
Response window
Four hours, business hours
How it works
A short review of how the site is hosted, monitored, and backed up today. Anything obviously broken or stale gets flagged on the call, before you sign on for anything.
Pick the tier that fits the business, not the biggest one. Most owners land on Essential or Standard. Priority is for sites where an hour of downtime costs more than the plan.
Hosting, DNS, monitoring, and backups get moved under Umber's care, or set up on what you already have. The handover takes a week, often less.
A short email at the end of each month: what was patched, what was edited, anything to know. No surprises on the next invoice, no jargon to decode.
Once a year, a full performance and security re-check on top of the regular care. Free for any active plan. The site stays current instead of drifting.
Engagement
Monthly billing.
Cancel anytime. No long contract, no exit fee. Quoted after a five-minute look at the site.
What moves the tier
Size of the site (the count of pages, forms, and integrations). How much traffic it carries. How often the content moves (a static brochure site sits low, an e-commerce or booking site sits higher). How fast the response window needs to be when something breaks.
Sites Umber built get half off the first month. The codebase is already familiar, so the handover is a day, not a week.
