Calgary · logo design
In Calgary a great many businesses do most of their advertising with a fleet. If the mark is not legible from another lane at highway speed, the most expensive advertising you own is not working. Three real directions, tested where they actually have to perform, and a file kit your wrap shop can use without redrawing anything.

Calgary identity market
Trades, energy services, transport, and field service make up a large share of Calgary's business base, and for those companies the vehicle is the primary advertising surface. That is a demanding design brief: readable at distance and at speed, legible on a dark or metallic body, and workable on everything from a half-ton to a trailer.
The failure mode is consistent. A mark designed on a screen at 400 pixels loses its fine detail entirely at ten metres, and a tagline locked under the wordmark becomes an unreadable smear on a door panel. Both are solvable by designing for the hardest use first and letting the easy ones follow.
Calgary also has a lot of businesses whose mark came from a wrap shop or a sign company as a free extra. Those are usually competent at exactly one size and one format, with no source file anywhere. A redraw with real files is often all that is needed.
How it works
Full scope on the logo design page.
An hour, sometimes less. We talk about the business, the customers, the words people already use about you, and the marks that make you wince. Whatever comes out of the call is the brief.
Three real directions, each shown with the mark in use at small and large sizes. No moodboards, no Pinterest stitching, no fifty variations of the same idea. Three honest choices to react to.
Two rounds of revision on the direction you pick. Small adjustments to weight, spacing, and proportion. The mark stops shifting and starts feeling like it has always been there.
SVG, PNG, JPG, favicon, social avatar. A one-page brand sheet with the typeface, the colour values, and where the mark should and should not go. Everything sent in a single folder.
What changes locally
A Calgary logo engagement designs for the hardest placement first, which is usually the vehicle, then works back to signage, screen, and print. The three directions are shown at distance and at small size rather than floating on a slide. The file kit includes vector formats a wrap shop or sign fabricator can cut from directly, and ownership transfers on final payment with source files available on request.
Note
Every engagement starts with a free written audit, including the Calgary ones. If we think the budget is better spent somewhere else, we will say so before you commit to anything. See everything we do in Calgary.

One page listing forty towns ranks for none of them. A page per neighbourhood gets flagged as spam. The level in between is where local rankings actually live, and almost nobody builds it.

No law requires it, which makes this a market decision rather than a compliance one. How to work out from your own data whether French pays for your business, and what building it properly actually involves.

Four different things get bundled into a monthly website fee, and only two of them are unavoidable. How to tell which one you are paying for, and how to spot the arrangement where you never stop paying and never own anything.
Free written audit. No call required, no commitment, no upsell at the end.
