Toronto · SEO
Toronto is the most contested search market in the country and most SEO proposals here are built around a term the business has no chance of ranking for. The work that pays is one page per real question, aimed at the searches underneath the head term, where intent is higher and the competition is a fraction. Everything on-page, nothing bought.

Toronto search market
Every Toronto agency pitch opens with the same promise: rank for the two-word term. Roofing Toronto, dentist Toronto, lawyer Toronto. Those results are held by businesses with a decade of links and a budget that renews every month, and a small business paying a retainer to chase them is funding somebody else's learning curve.
What is genuinely open in Toronto is everything underneath. The neighbourhood, the specific service, the specific problem. Emergency drain Leslieville. Invisalign North York. Employment lawyer severance review. Those searches have less volume each and far more intent, and one of them landing is a client.
The other Toronto-specific factor is the GTA. Somebody in Vaughan searches Vaughan, not Toronto, and a business that folds nine municipalities into one page about the GTA ranks in none of them. Plain-text service-area pages are unglamorous and they work.
How it works
Full scope on the seo page.
Every public page graded against what search engines actually read: the title, the heading, the depth of the copy, the internal links, the schema, and the page speed. The audit becomes the punch list, and you get it in writing before anyone talks about a fee.
Stuffing five terms into one page weakens all five. Each page gets one honest target it can win, drawn from the language real customers use, which is rarely the language the industry uses about itself.
Headings tightened, thin copy made substantial, internal links added between pages that belong next to each other. The page earns its ranking the legitimate way, by answering the question better than the pages above it.
Title tags, meta descriptions, schema markup, image alt text, sitemap, robots.txt, and Core Web Vitals. The plumbing search engines need in order to understand the site, set up once and set up correctly.
Search Console connected, a baseline taken, and a short written note each month for the first quarter on what is moving. Quiet check-ins, no dashboard theatre.
What changes locally
A Toronto SEO pass starts by throwing out the head terms and mapping what your customers actually type, neighbourhood by neighbourhood and problem by problem. Each page gets one target it can realistically win, the thin pages get rewritten rather than tweaked, and the GTA municipalities you serve get real plain-text coverage instead of one page that says Greater Toronto Area. Schema, internal links, and Core Web Vitals get fixed once, properly.
Note
Every engagement starts with a free written audit, including the Toronto ones. If we think the budget is better spent somewhere else, we will say so before you commit to anything. See everything we do in Toronto.

One page listing forty towns ranks for none of them. A page per neighbourhood gets flagged as spam. The level in between is where local rankings actually live, and almost nobody builds it.

Four different things get bundled into a monthly website fee, and only two of them are unavoidable. How to tell which one you are paying for, and how to spot the arrangement where you never stop paying and never own anything.
Free written audit. No call required, no commitment, no upsell at the end.
