A Henderson roofer kneeling on a storm-damaged roof, checking lifted shingles as the weather clears

Hail or wind hit? Here’s what’s next.

We’ve filed more than 1,200 storm claims in Tulsa County. Here’s what happens from the minute you call to the day your new roof is finished, and what it costs you. Almost always, that’s just the deductible.

Water coming in?

Call us before your insurer. We’ll tarp the roof today at no charge and document the damage for your claim while we’re up there.

What we fix

Four kinds of damage, one process

  • Hail hits circled in chalk on a shingle roof

    Hail

    Hail damage

Bruised shingles, lost granules, exposed mat. Hail season here runs April through June, and it’s usually covered.

  • Shingles torn loose by wind along a roof slope

    Wind

    Wind damage

Lifted, creased or missing shingles after a strong storm. Easy to miss from the ground.

  • A fallen tree limb lying across a damaged roof in Jenks

    Limbs

    Fallen limbs

Impact damage from branches and debris. We tarp it the same day and handle the repair and the claim together.

  • A sagging, leaking gutter run on a house in Glenpool

    Gutters

    Gutters and flashing

Dented runs, pulled downspouts, bent flashing. Covered under the same claim when the storm did it.

The timeline

About three weeks, call to new roof

Every claim runs a little differently. This is the shape of an average one, and we’ll tell you where yours stands at every step.

  1. Day 0

    You call

We set an inspection inside 24 hours. In a storm week we’re on the roof the same day.

  2. Day 1

    Inspection and written report

A full walk of the roof, photos of every flagged spot and a PDF report by the end of the day.

  3. Days 2 to 7

We file the claim with you

If there’s storm damage, we handle the filing. You sign one form.

  4. Days 7 to 14

    The adjuster visits

We meet your adjuster on the roof with the photos, so nothing gets missed.

  5. Days 14 to 21

    Claim approved

We book your install, and you pick the shingle color.

  6. Install day

Start to finish in one day

The crew arrives at 7 a.m. and leaves by 5 p.m., with the yard swept for nails.

Questions

Questions we get, answered plainly

Still wondering about something? Call or text Mike. He’d rather you ask before you sign anything.

  • Does filing a claim raise my insurance?

Storm claims count as acts of nature, so they aren’t held against you the way an at-fault claim is. Your premium can still change at renewal if the whole area had losses.

  • What if the adjuster says it isn’t covered?

We help you appeal with better documentation, and denials do get reversed that way. If the damage really isn’t covered, we’ll tell you. There’s no point pushing a claim that won’t land.

  • Do I have to use you for the repair?

No. In Oklahoma you pick your contractor, your insurer doesn’t. We’ll help you file even if you go with someone else.

  • Will you cover my deductible?

No, and nobody should. The deductible is your share. A contractor who offers to waive it is committing insurance fraud, and it puts your claim at risk.

  • Is a small repair worth filing?

Not if it costs less than your deductible. We’ll tell you that at the inspection. We’d rather lose the job than push a claim that costs you money.

  • How long does the whole thing take?

Two to four weeks from the first call to a finished roof, and most of that is waiting on the adjuster. We’ve done it in six days. Slow carriers have taken six weeks.

  • Will you tarp my roof if it’s leaking?

Yes. Same day, no charge, before anything else. We document the damage for your claim while we’re up there.

  • What about gutters, fascia and siding?

Covered under the same claim when the storm caused it. We replace gutters ourselves. Siding and soffits go to two crews we’ve worked with for ten years, on one invoice.
